Can I fly with a stun gun?

Stun guns are TSA-approved for checked bags but cannot be packed in carry-on bags. They also only allow stun guns in checked luggage if they can be completely disabled so they do not accidentally activate in your bag. This means it is best to travel with a device with removable batteries. You can read the full rules on tsa.gov.
