Exactly as described. The only thing missing is a wrist-strap. I added one and it's absolutely perfect. We go out for walks at night and wrap my hand around the "switch" area - looks like a normal flashlight. With the wrist strap on, I can "drop" it down into a defensive hold. We bought two - love this! Perfect for anyone!

I like the Titan however I'm not so crazy about the internal parts because I was practicing a scenario attack and was wielding the Baton without hitting anything and the flashlight no longer works due to the amount of force when swinging at air so it is fragile and is also my my replacement from the first one I had the stun portion still works luckily I see it as more defensive item as far as a baton but it would still be nice to use the stun if it works which it does at the moment so I like the fact that you can stun and strike and it has a good length good for home defense however I wish the internal parts were Somehow better put together

Love it. Bragging about it to all my single lady friends who like to walk. From user friendly point of view having a better grip handle would be great…. along with having someway attacker could get zapped if they tried to grab it from you. just the sound alone would be a big deterrent for anyone to approach you.

I would recommend that you change the battery charger or the type of battery. There are two types I think of batteries. one has a flat top positive pole and the other has the normal one that sticks out. Mine came with the batteries that have the normal positive pole that sticks out and the charger has a + terminal that also sticks out so the batteries pop out. You have be careful to make sure they stay in the charger. The ones provided pop out unless they are perfectly aligned. I think this charger is for the flat top positive pole type batteries.

I really like that it's longer than the one I had, and I like that there is a push button to power it up instead of an on/off switch. The only problem is that the ring that holds the wrist strap is coming loose, and I'm afraid it will fall and get damaged if I'm not holding the handle too.

This is my 3rd baton. It replaces the one that had the batteries explode during charging. Unlike the present baton, the batteries were designed to charge while inside the baton so the whole unit was destroyed! This 3rd baton is an improvement since the batteries are removed for charging. They can also be easily replaced.
I love all three batons that I have had. The stun sound has been enough to scare coyotes, dogs and skunks away during my early morning walks with my small dog. I have not needed to actually stun them. Also, the flashlight is powerful enough to help spot possible threats (animals and cars) from a long distance away.

My order looked as if it had been shipped on 20 June and by 5 July still no progress on the USPS tracking number. Talked to Guard Dog and they determined the package was "misplaced". They immediately took action and refilled my order. I received the Titan stun gun in 4 days. Thank you'
Set up to charge the batteries. The light would not show red. It seemed one of the batteries was causing a problem with the charger.
I have a charger that can charge both Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries and it indicates on the face of the charger what type of battery it is charging.
TO MY SURPRISE ONE OF THE BATTERIES INDICATES AS A Ni-MH battery.

This will be my 3rd one. It functions great. However, my present one exploded while charging! I have never had this happen before. The bezel broke off on the first one a few years ago. My second one exploded yesterday while charging! I never had a charging problem before. I use it while walking my dog at 05:00 in the morning where we have dogs, skunks and coyotes. The sound is usually enough to make them run. I have not needed to actually stun anything. The light is great during the dark winter mornings.

Haven't had the need to use the taser yet, but the flashlight works great. It is great to be able to charge and recharge and not have to use batteries.
It would seem to work well as a club or a bat as well, but again, fortunately, we haven't had to use it for that purpose either.

My only issue is that the components inside the aluminum tube tube rattle and move as I walk. It wouldn't take very much foam padding inside for it to feel more stable in my hand

It has a really good hand feel. The device is light enough to almost not be noticed. it is well balanced, and light, so you can make a very quick strike if it were necessary, without it feeling like the device is pulling you off center. However, it is heavy and robust enough that a strike in the right place would make the needed difference. The stun is just a bonus feature, to me. The light can be very handy while out walking after dark, and the strobe is bright enough to be effective. Actually, I liked the utility of this device so much I have now purchased two, making a gift of the second to my girlfriend.

I purchased this after my wife and I were attacked by a pit bull while walking our dog. Living in town I did not want to carry concealed due to the problems discharging a weapon in city can bring. The baton is well made and heafty, easy to activate and actually looks good to boot. My only critique of it would that it would be nice to have a hard mount for a wrist lanyard.

I wish I had this product then, I love the feel and heft of the titan and hope to never need it but I will be glad to have it if it is ever needed. Titan-Well worth the money
After receiving the Titan I made sure all is functioning properly. Which it was. It appears to be as solid as it looks. The price of the Titan alone is what sold me. One thing I wish it had would be a strap, to slip your hand thru, so it couldn't be taken away from you. I'm very happy with the product.
