I’m grateful because in North Dakota it is not a deadly weapon but it is protecting and I have one another and I need a battery rechargeable battery I ordered one and it was for a flashlight thank you it does help me and I don’t have to carry a gun we have concealed carry here thank you

Living in the Chicagoland region and my one daughter having to drive in and work in the city along with a granddaughter who has to do the same in the southern suburbs, I bought a "gun" for each of them as well as all the other ladies in my family. I pick up my granddaughter from school each day and often get her some snacks. At one place I have to leave her in the car by herself and although she is old enough, you can never tell these days even out here in the suburbs. She feels secure and safe with my martial arts fighting sticks next to her, but I feel even more secure leaving my "gun" with her.

This taser seems to be solid and trouble-free. A slide switch controls the light, and when moved fully forward, enables the taser, which is activated by a push button. The light has 3 modes: bright, dim, and strobe. I wish I could control which mode is active when I turn on the switch, but it cycles through each mode when the light is turned off and on again. Also, I wish there were an indicator so I would know how much charge remains in the battery. The 110 volt charger does have an indicator to tell me when the battery is fully charged. The 12 volt charger has only an indicator to tell me that power is available.

I am happy with everything about the Diablo II except for the lack of a third safety step for the stun activation. I would have liked an additional on/off switch at the base to prevent accidentally switching the slide button and activating the stun while placing or removing the unit from the holster. Otherwise the unit is well made and has a solid feel to it.
