"Receive the unit and put it on the charger for 24 hours. Nothing, battery did not charge. Confirmed it was the battery buy using a replacement. Ordered new batteries and charger on Amazon Unit is solidly built and spark is loud and potent (seems like it anyway) but in order to cycle through the light modes, you have to turn the light off and on 3 times. And you have to do this every time you want to use the light. Also, to use the spark, the light turns off. Strange that if you’re using the spark when it’s dark, you can’t have light as well. Overall I do like the unit and will keep it but just some strange quirks."

"First charge and batteries inside melted together. Couldn't get them out of the barrel to diagnose or replace. Went online to customer service, after 5 minutes of ai questions the robot said I needed to pay $5 to start a file. Then I looked at reviews, common problem and the workaround is to buy a battery charger and charge the batteries separately It's trash. You shouldn't have asked for a review. I have bought 3 of the old style with the prongs 1 of those stopped the stun function but flashlight still works. The other 2 haven't been used enough to test their functionality, this was the first II that I purchased. Waste of money, your poor customer service sealed the deal for me."
